Not a problem, there’s no need to tear any framework or anything involving pulling your doors apart! We can put down a stainless steel cover track over the top like capping a tooth! No visible screws needed, just a shiny new track instead!
This doesn’t mean your lock is broken, it usually means the wheels have broken or worn down putting the door out of its alignment, thus putting the lock out of alignment too. With our adjustable double rollers we can match your door back up with the frame correctly, even if the entire framework has slightly shifted and have everything working properly again without wasting money on a locksmith.
Things like dog hair, salt and sand damage your sliding door wheels, which are normally made of plastic. These have an average life of 3-4 years, especially if you live on the coast. As the debris builds up, your plastic wheels wear flat and the door starts sliding on them, instead of rolling. The wheel will eventually wear down to the metal hub, which then cuts in the soft aluminium.
There are 84 different sliding door systems in Australia. Each using different methods of installation and doors are fitted with different sized wheels. The Miracle Track is designed to fit all of these. Once we are finished, your door should slide better than new.
